I redid my hatched assignment using a different stroke, ink, and paper. I'm much happier with the results.
Sennelier ink is smooth and shiny when dry. It seems to float on the surface of Vellum Bristol. Higgins ink seems to penetrate a little deeper and can look a little dull.
